Welcome to Beach and Body, the south coast's specialist swimwear shop, where women of every age and shape can find the best range of continental fashion swimwear and accessories outside of London, all year round.

Designer swimwear

Beach and Body in Westbourne on the edge of Bournemouth works with international swimwear designers to offer designer fashion swimsuits and accessories, all year round. Whether you like simple monochromes, prefer strong colours, or want a pretty pastel to show off your tan, there's a beautiful swimsuit here for you.

This year's shapes include halterneck, bandeau, strapless and v-neck. As you'd expect from quality swimwear, the fabrics are light but strong, and with reasonable care will last for years. And for keen swimmers and spa-users, we have styles with anti-chlorine properties. Choose from swimsuits, swimdresses, bikinis and tankinis, beach dresses, sarongs and kaftans as well as sunhats and beach shoes.

"This lovely swimsuit and sarong gave me such confidence on the beach, I enjoyed my holiday even more."

It's always summer somewhere

Beach and Body customers enjoy escaping to winter sun destinations, relaxing cruises, pool parties and easy days at the beach, so we're always adding new stock to help them look fabulous, whatever the time of year. With hundreds of swimsuits, bikinis and accessories in stock to provide inspiration, and weekly deliveries, there's always something new.

"I honestly didn't think I'd find a costume I would feel good in, but I have!"

A perfect fit

"The less you wear, the more it counts". Our specialist trained staff are passionate about helping women of all ages choose the best styles for their body shape, and find the right swimsuit or bikini for them.

The fashion swimsuit or bikini has a lot to do- it needs to look fabulous, feel comfortable, hold in, push out, not ride up (or down!), make the most of your figure, and ideally come with a matching cover-up for when you've had enough sun. And that's before you've even got it wet!

"I'm so surprised, I actually enjoyed the experience, even though I thought it was going to be awful."
